On the system description guidelines on this page, it says there should be no footnotes except for the copyright. Is that correct? It is also confusing since the paper template provided has other footnotes (e.g. the author emails are in footnotes). Please advise.

I think there must be no footnotes other than the mandatory ones on the first page. But you can have more footnotes on the rest of the pages.
