Dear organizers,
Please mention through which platform we have to submit our working notes. For example, through easychair or there is something else.

Dear participants,

Thank you for your participation in the DIMEMEX@IberLEF 2024 shared task. We are happy to announce that the results on the final phase for both subtasks are available now. Results in the leaderboard display the best entry from each participant, and you should be able to look in your own space the results of every submitted run for the final phase. Also you can find the official results including baseline models in the following link:

Congratulations to everyone for the great progress achieved in this task and special congrats to the top ranked participants. We are aware that the problem was challenging, but the results are encouraging, and we are eager to know about your proposed solutions.

We now require from you a working note describing your system, these notes will be published in the CEUR workshop proceedings (see here: https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-3496/ the last year's proceedings). Detailed formatting instructions can be found here: link:https://sites.google.com/view/iberlef-2024/working-notes

Please note that we are writing an overview paper where the shared task is described in detail, therefore you do not need to spend too much space describing it, just please cite the overview paper in your manuscripts as follows:

Horacio Jarquín Vásquez, Itzel Tlelo-Coyotecatl, Irazú Hernández Farías, Marco Casavantes, Hugo Jair Escalante, Luis Villaseñor-Pineda, Manuel Montes y Gómez. Overview of DIMEMEX at IberLEF 2024: Detection of Inappropriate Memes from Mexico. Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural, September, 2024.

The deadline for receiving your working note submissions is June 7th, if you need a couple of extra days please contact us ASAP. Please send your contributions to this email address: dirazuherfa@hotmail.com

Congratulations once again to everyone, and we are looking forward to receiving your working notes. Do not hesitate in contacting us if you have any questions.

Best regards
The organizing team
