I am trying to submit a .zip file but even after 10 minutes i see no progress nor do i see any error. File size is also less than 1mb. Any leads

You probably had the same issue as here: https://github.com/codalab/codalab-competitions/issues/3503
You need to either use Firefox or enable mutation events in your current browser.
