I'm not 100% sure of the exact cause, but I think it could be lack of RAM on the compute worker. I've upgraded the compute worker from 1GB RAM to 32GB RAM and initial test of your submission seems to pass the "install xgboost" phase. Do you mind resubmitting and letting me know if that worked?
