Thanks for the question!
We synthesized the noise using our noise model. After comparing with real captured noisy images, we found our synthesized version both realistic and accurate. Therefore, we provided the noisy images as part of the input for the challenge. On the other hand, we do not plan to disclose the specific noise type or the noise model at this moment.
