if one use gbdt or similar supervised model with lots of parameters to reproduce the result, and cannot explain the parameters at all, will this team be disqualifed?

Due to using an external dataset, this model type is not allowed, as per the ' Rules and Engagement' item 7 of our competition. (https://codalab.lisn.upsaclay.fr/competitions/13902#learn_the_details-terms_and_conditions)
